Request from another jurisdiction to investigate aspects of claim
410 Request from another jurisdiction to investigate aspects of claim
(1) If a request, made under a corresponding law, is received by the law
society from a corresponding authority to arrange for the investigation of any
aspect of a claim being dealt with under a corresponding law, the law society
may conduct the investigation.
(2) The provisions of this part relating to
the investigation of a claim apply, with any necessary changes, in relation to
the investigation of the relevant aspect of the claim that is the subject of
the request.
(3) The law society must provide a report on the result of the
investigation to the corresponding authority.
