LEGAL PROFESSION ACT 2007 - SECT 536
Reports by external intervener for law practice
(1) An external intervener for a law practice must give written reports under
any reporting requirements to be observed by the external intervener under the
instrument of appointment.
(2) If the appointment is not subject to stated
reporting requirements, the external intervener must give written reports to
the law society as follows— (a) when required at any time by the law
society;
(b) at the termination of the appointment.
(3) Also, the
external intervener must keep the law society informed of the progress of the
external intervention, including by reporting to the law society about
significant events happening, or a significant state of affairs existing, in
connection with the intervention or other matters relating to the
intervention.
(4) Nothing in this section affects another reporting
obligation that may exist in relation to the law practice concerned.
(5) A
regulation may prescribe matters to be included in a report.
