Remuneration and appointment conditions of panel members
609 Remuneration and appointment conditions of panel members
(1) A member of the lay panel is entitled to be paid the remuneration and
allowances decided by the Governor in Council for sitting with the tribunal in
relation to hearing and deciding a discipline application.
(2) It is a
condition of a lay member’s appointment that if the member’s appointment
is terminated under section 610 , the member is not entitled to any
remuneration or allowances applicable to any sitting after the date of the
termination.
(3) To the extent that the conditions are not provided for by
this Act, a member of the lay panel or practitioner panel holds office on the
conditions decided by the Governor in Council.
