Relationship of div 7 with ch 6
71 Relationship of div 7 with ch 6
(1) An investigator appointed by a regulatory authority may exercise powers
under chapter 6 for a matter under this division, as if the matter were the
subject of a complaint.
(2) Accordingly, the provisions of chapter 6 apply in
relation to a matter under this division, and so apply with any necessary
changes.
(3) Nothing in this division prevents— (a) a regulatory authority
from making a complaint about a matter to which this division relates; or
(b)
the commissioner from investigating or referring a matter for investigation as
mentioned in section 435 .
