737 Application of pt 3.4, div 6
(1) This section applies to— (a) work performed under a client agreement; or
(b) urgent work performed before the commencement or as mentioned in
section 734(1)(b).
(2) A bill given to a client by a law practice for the
work must comply with the requirements of— (a) part 3.4, division 6, in
relation to a bill and the giving of a bill; or
(b) if the bill is given to
the client before the relevant day—repealed section 48J(1)(a) or (b).
(3)
If a bill that complies with repealed section 48J(1)(a) or (b) is given to a
person before the relevant day— (a) the bill is a bill under part 3.4,
division 6, even though it does not comply with the requirements in
section 330 or 331; and
(b) part 3.4, division 6, applies to the bill as if
it were made under the division, including, for example, sections 329 and 332.
