LAND VALUATION ACT 2010 - SECT 129
Attendance and representation
129 Attendance and representation
(1) A person who is not a party may attend and take part in the objection
conference if the chairperson is satisfied the person may help to resolve a
dispute relating to the objection.
(2) A party may use an interpreter in the
objection conference.
(3) A party may, with the chairperson’s approval, be
represented by an agent or other representative at the objection conference.
(4) The approval— (a) can be given only if the chairperson is satisfied the
agent or other representative is needed to help the objection process; and
(b) may be given without conditions or on the conditions the chairperson
considers reasonable to ensure the other party is not unfairly disadvantaged
by the representation.
(5) If the approval is given on conditions, the
representation is subject to the agent or other representative complying with
the conditions.
