Recovery in case of fraud
59 Recovery in case of fraud
(1) An insurer may recover from a claimant or other person who defrauds or
attempts to defraud the insurer on a claim any costs reasonably incurred by
the insurer because of the fraud.
(2) In subsection (1) —
"insurer" includes the Nominal Defendant.
