(1) The Mental Health Court may make an order (a
"court examination order" ) requiring the person the subject of a proceeding before the court to submit to an examination by a stated examining practitioner.Note—A court examination order is a type of judicial order. A judicial order does not authorise the provision of involuntary treatment and care to the person.
(2) The court examination order must—(a) be in the approved form; and(b) state the matters on which the examining practitioner must report to the court.
(3) The examining practitioner must give a written report on the examination to the court.
