NATIONAL ELECTRICITY (QUEENSLAND) LAW - SECT 118

118 Obstruction and non-compliance

(1) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, obstruct or hinder a person in the exercise of a power under section 116 .

Penalty—

Maximum penalty:

(a) in the case of a natural person—$34 000;

(b) in the case of a body corporate—$170 000.

(2) A person must not, without reasonable excuse, fail to comply with a direction under section 116 .

Penalty—

Maximum penalty:

(a) in the case of a natural person—$34 000;

(b) in the case of a body corporate—$170 000.
