Purpose of Act and its achievement
3 Purpose of Act and its achievement
(1) The purpose of this Act is to help protect the health, safety and welfare
of the people of Queensland.
(2) The purpose is achieved primarily by
prohibiting the construction and operation of particular nuclear reactors and
other facilities in the nuclear fuel cycle.
