PROSTITUTION ACT 1999 - SECT 110I
Preservation of rights
110I Preservation of rights
(1) This section applies if a public service officer is appointed as the
executive director.
(2) The person retains and is entitled to all rights that
have accrued to the person because of employment as a public service officer,
or that would accrue in the future to the person because of that employment,
as if service as the executive director were a continuation of service as a
public service officer.
(3) At the end of the person’s term of appointment
or on resignation— (a) the person is entitled to be employed as a public
service officer at a classification level not less than the current
classification level of a position equivalent to the position the person held
before being appointed as executive director; and
(b) the person’s service
as the executive director is taken to be service of a like nature in the
public service for deciding the person’s rights as a public service officer.
