PUBLIC HEALTH ACT 2005 - SECT 425
Obstructing authorised persons
425 Obstructing authorised persons
(1) A person must not obstruct an authorised person in the exercise of a
power, unless the person has a reasonable excuse. Penalty— Maximum
penalty—100 penalty units.
(2) If a person has obstructed an authorised
person and the authorised person decides to proceed with the exercise of the
power, the authorised person must warn the person that— (a) it is an offence
to obstruct the authorised person, unless the person has a reasonable excuse;
and
(b) the authorised person considers the person’s conduct is an
obstruction.
