Interest of mortgagor not seizable on judgment for mortgage debt
97 Interest of mortgagor not seizable on judgment for mortgage debt
(1) On a judgment of any court for a debt secured by mortgage of any property,
the interest of the mortgagor in that property shall not be taken in
execution.
(2) This section applies to execution on a judgment whether
obtained before or after the commencement of this Act, and applies despite any
stipulation to the contrary in the mortgage.
