PROPERTY OCCUPATIONS ACT 2014 - SECT 117
Application for registration
117 Application for registration
(1) An applicant for registration must— (a) be an individual; and
(b) apply
to the chief executive in the approved form; and
(c) state the term of the
registration being applied for; and
(d) establish the applicant’s
suitability and eligibility for registration as a real estate salesperson; and
(e) provide any information the chief executive reasonably requires to decide
whether the applicant is suitable and eligible to be a real estate
salesperson.
(2) The application must be accompanied by— (a) the
application fee prescribed under a regulation; and
(b) the registration issue
fee prescribed under a regulation; and
(c) if, before or when the application
is made, a criminal history costs requirement is made of the applicant—the
amount of the costs required to be paid.
