Replacement licences
81 Replacement licences
(1) A licensee may apply to the chief executive for the replacement of a lost,
stolen, destroyed or damaged licence.
(2) The application must be made in the
approved form.
(3) The chief executive must grant the application if the
chief executive is satisfied the licence has been lost, stolen, destroyed or
damaged in a way to require its replacement.
(4) If the chief executive
grants the application, the chief executive must issue another licence to the
applicant to replace the lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged licence.
(5) The
chief executive may also replace a licence if— (a) either— (i) the
licensee has given written notice to the chief executive of a prescribed
change under section 83 ; or
(ii) the chief executive reasonably believes a
prescribed change for the licensee has happened; and
(b) the chief executive
is satisfied the prescribed change requires a replacement of the licence.
(6)
If the chief executive replaces a licence under this section— (a) the
licence continues to be subject to the same conditions and term to which the
licence was subject before being replaced; and
(b) the holder of the licence
must pay the chief executive the fee prescribed under a regulation.
