A watch-house manager may give or cause to be given to a person in custody in the watch-house any reasonably necessary directions, or take or cause to be taken any reasonably necessary steps, for ensuring the good management and control of the watch-house.
Examples—1 The manager may direct a person in custody to move from 1 cell to another because the person is causing disruption to others or for the safety of others.2 The manager may physically remove a person from 1 cell to another if the person fails to comply with a direction.
