Validation of watch-house entrant inspections
899 Validation of watch-house entrant inspections
(1) An inspection of a
person’s belongings under former section 644 involving the touching of a
garment the person was wearing is, and is taken to have always been, as valid
as it would have been if, at the time it was carried out, new section 644 was
in force.
(2) In this section—
"former section 644" means section 644 as in force before the commencement.
"new section 644" means section 644 as in force from the commencement.
