PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 2008 - SECT 212
Public service employee’s entitlements for attending appeal as part of duties
212 Public service employee’s entitlements for attending appeal as part of
duties
(1) A public service employee is entitled to be paid travelling expenses and
allowances reasonably incurred in attending an appeal proceeding as part of
the employee’s duties.
(2) The amount of the expenses and allowances is to
be decided by the commission chief executive.
(3) However, this section does
not apply to an employee who is the appellant and is suspended from duty
without pay, unless the employee’s appeal is allowed. Note— This section
has no relevance to an appeal against a disciplinary declaration.
