PUBLIC SECTOR ETHICS ACT 1994 - SECT 12A

12A Preparation of code

(1) The commissioner must ensure that a code of conduct is prepared for public service agencies.

(2) The commissioner must ensure that reasonable steps are taken to consult about the code with—

(a) public service agencies; and

(b) public officials to whom the code is to apply; and

(c) industrial organisations representing the interests of a public official mentioned in paragraph (b) ; and

(d) other appropriate entities representing the interests of a public official mentioned in paragraph (b) .
