QUEENSLAND BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION COMMISSION ACT 1991 - SECT 108A
Documents that must be kept for 7 years
108A Documents that must be kept for 7 years
(1) Subsection (2) applies to the following documents— (a) a building
contract entered into by a building contractor and the plans, specifications
and variations relating to the contract;
(b) a building contractor’s
financial records relevant to the minimum financial requirements for the
licence held by the building contractor.
(2) The contractor must keep each
document for 7 years from the date it is put into writing. Penalty—
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
