Application to tribunal if conciliation process ends without conciliated resolution
136B Application to tribunal if conciliation process ends without conciliated
resolution
(1) This section applies if— (a) an interested person makes a dispute
resolution request about payment of a rental bond mentioned in section 136A ;
and
(b) the conciliation process ends without a conciliated resolution being
reached; and
(c) the authority gives the interested person written notice
about the ending of the conciliation process.
(2) The interested person may
apply to the tribunal for an order about the payment of the rental bond.
(3)
The application must be made within 7 days after the interested person is
given the written notice from the authority about the ending of the
conciliation process.
(4) If the interested person applies to the tribunal
for an order about the payment of the rental bond, the person must give the
authority written notice of the application.
