RESIDENTIAL TENANCIES AND ROOMING ACCOMMODATION ACT 2008 - SECT 199
Entry by secondary agents generally
199 Entry by secondary agents generally
(1) A secondary agent of the lessor may enter the premises under section 192
(1) (a) to (e) and (g) to (i) only if— (a) the tenant agrees; or
(b) the
agent produces for the tenant’s inspection written evidence of the agent’s
appointment; or
(c) for an entry under section 192 (1) (h) the tenant does
not respond to the entry notice within a reasonable time.
(2) However, for an
entry under section 192 (1) (b) , (d) or (e) , subsection (1) does not apply
if it is not practicable to comply with that provision because of— (a) the
remoteness of the premises; and
(b) the shortage in the general area of the
premises of a suitably qualified tradesperson or other person needed to make
the repairs or carry out the maintenance.
