Authority’s powers
469 Authority’s powers
(1) The authority has all the powers of an individual and may, for example—
(a) enter into contracts; and
(b) acquire, hold, deal with and dispose of
property; and
(c) appoint agents and attorneys; and
(d) charge for, and fix
conditions for the supply of, goods, services and information it supplies; and
(e) engage consultants; and
(f) do anything else necessary or convenient to
be done in performing its functions.
(2) Without limiting subsection (1) ,
the authority has the powers given to it under this or another Act.
(3) The
authority may exercise its powers inside and outside Queensland, including
outside Australia.
