STATUTORY BODIES FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENTS ACT 1982 - SECT 70
Approval may be general in nature
70 Approval may be general in nature
(1) The Treasurer may, by gazette notice, approve the exercise of powers under
this Act by statutory bodies.
(2) The approval may— (a) apply generally to
all statutory bodies, powers and matters or be limited in its application
to— (i) particular bodies, powers or matters; or
(ii) particular classes of
bodies, powers or matters; or
(b) otherwise apply generally or be limited in
its application by reference to specified exceptions or factors.
(3) Also,
the approval may— (a) make different provision for different statutory
bodies, powers or matters, or different classes of bodies, powers or matters;
or
(b) apply differently to stated exceptions or factors.
(4) The approval
may be on conditions the Treasurer considers necessary or desirable.
(5) To
remove any doubt, it is declared that an approval may apply to a statutory
body even though the body was not established when the approval was given.
