TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER LAND ACT 1991 - SECT 172
Provision about vesting of Torres Strait Islander land
172 Provision about vesting of Torres Strait Islander land
(1) If Torres Strait Islander land is held by a land trust, the land is taken
to have been vested in the land trust.
(2) Subsection (1) applies to Torres
Strait Islander land whether or not the land was first held by the land trust
before the commencement of this section.
