Appointment of persons to carry out inspections
305 Appointment of persons to carry out inspections
(1) The underground mine manager for the mine, in writing, may appoint a
person to carry out an inspection at the mine only if the person is competent
to carry out the inspection.
(2) The appointment does not prevent the person
having other duties at the mine that do not affect the person’s ability to
carry out the inspection in a thorough and timely way.
