(a) fixed and mobile plant used at the mine to be checked for hazards that might reasonably be expected from operating the plant; and
(b) the checks to be carried out—(i) by a person competent in recognising the hazards; and(ii) periodically and, if the plant has been stopped for at least 24 hours, before the plant is started again.
