344 Working with vulnerable people registration—staff members

(1) The approved provider of an education and care service must not engage a person as a staff member of that service unless the staff member holds a working with vulnerable people registration.

Penalty—

Penalty: $2200.

(2) The approved provider of an education and care service must ensure that a person who is 18 years of age or older who is a volunteer at, or a student on a practicum placement at the service holds proof that he or she holds a working with vulnerable people registration.
