EDUCATION (GENERAL PROVISIONS) REGULATION 2017 - REG 65
Holidays
65 Holidays
(1) A student of a State school is not required to attend the school on the
following days— (a) a public holiday;
(b) an appointed student holiday for
the school.
(2) In this section—
"appointed student holiday" , for a State school, means— (a) a day
designated by the Minister as being a holiday for students of the school; or
(b) a day designated by the Minister as being a holiday for students of all
State schools; or
(c) a day designated by the Minister as being a holiday for
students of all State schools whose premises are located within a particular
region of Queensland if the school’s premises are located within the region.
