ELECTRICAL SAFETY REGULATION 2013 - REG 140
Procedure before cancellation
140 Procedure before cancellation
(1) This section applies if the regulator considers a ground exists under
section 139 to cancel the registration of a matter.
(2) The regulator must,
before taking the action, give the responsible supplier of in-scope electrical
equipment written notice— (a) stating that the regulator is considering
cancelling the registration; and
(b) stating each ground for the proposed
cancellation; and
(c) outlining the facts and circumstances forming the basis
for each ground; and
(d) inviting the responsible supplier to show, within a
stated period of at least 28 days, why the registration should not be
cancelled.
