(1) A table in this schedule must be read together with chapter 3 , which provides for—(a) how fish mentioned in column 1 of a table in this schedule are regulated fish; and(b) activities that may be carried out in relation to fish mentioned in column 1 of a table in this schedule despite a prohibition otherwise provided for in the table.Note—See, for example—(a) section 117 (2) , which provides for taking and possessing a higher number of a regulated coral reef fin fish than that provided for under this schedule; and(b) section 117 (3) , which provides for possessing a regulated coral reef fin fish in filleted form in particular circumstances.
(2) Column 2 of a table in this schedule states a letter to indicate the factor in relation to which the fish stated in column 1 is regulated.
(3) In column 2—
"F" means the fish is regulated by form.
"G" means the fish is regulated by gender or reproductive capacity.
"N" means the fish is regulated by number.
"S" means the fish is regulated by size.
"V" means the fish is regulated by volume.
"W" means the fish is regulated by weight.
