Details to be recorded when controlled drugs administered in unit
103 Details to be recorded when controlled drugs administered in unit
(1) When a controlled drug is administered in a unit, the unit storer must
record on the relevant page of the ward drugs book— (a) the description and
quantity or volume of the controlled drug; and
(b) the date and time the
controlled drug is administered; and
(c) the name of the person to whom the
controlled drug is administered; and
(d) the quantity or volume of the
controlled drug remaining.
Penalty— Maximum penalty—40 penalty
units.
(2) The person who obtains the controlled drug to administer it to
someone else must sign the entry if the person is reasonably satisfied the
entry is correct. Penalty— Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
