HEALTH (DRUGS AND POISONS) REGULATION 1996 - REG 128
False statements—controlled drugs
128 False statements—controlled drugs
(1) A person must not make a statement the person knows is false to obtain a
controlled drug from a person endorsed under this regulation to administer,
dispense or sell the drug. Penalty— Maximum penalty—80 penalty units.
(2) A person must not make a statement the person knows is false to obtain a
prescription for a controlled drug from a prescriber. Penalty— Maximum
penalty—80 penalty units.
(3) A person must not make a statement the
person knows is false about a prescription or purchase order for a controlled
drug. Penalty— Maximum penalty—80 penalty units.
(4) A person must
not state a name or residential address the person knows is false to— (a) a
person who may administer, dispense, prescribe or sell a controlled drug; or
(b) an employee or agent of a person mentioned in paragraph (a) in the
performance of the employment or agency.
Penalty— Maximum penalty—80
penalty units.
