(1) The chief executive must not grant a movement permit for the movement of an animal from another State into the State unless—(a) the movement is permitted under the laws of the other State; and(b) the chief executive is satisfied all approvals required for the movement under the laws of the other State have been, or are likely to be, granted; and(c) for a live marine mammal—the chief executive is satisfied the animal—(i) is not a captive bred animal; and(ii) would be kept in the State under a rehabilitation permit or a research permit.
(2) The chief executive must not grant a movement permit for the movement of an animal from the State to another State unless the chief executive is satisfied all approvals required for the movement under the laws of the other State have been, or are likely to be, granted.
