A temporary special marine mammal declaration must—
(a) identify the marine mammal, or the relevant group of marine mammals, that is the subject of the declaration; andExample of identifying a marine mammal—naming the species of marine mammal and describing the unique characteristics of the mammal
(b) state the reasons for the declaration; and
(c) include the declarations under section 294 (2) (b) applying to the marine mammal, or the relevant group of marine mammals, that is the subject of the declaration; and
(d) state the following for declarations under section 294 (2) (b) —(i) the nature of the offence, under this regulation, that relates to the declaration;(ii) the maximum penalty under this regulation for the offence mentioned in subparagraph (i) ; and
(e) state the period for which the declaration will be in effect.
