3 Regions for collective contracts—Act, s 237

(1) For section 237 (4) of the Act , definition
"region" , each part of the State made up of the local government areas stated in schedule 1 , column 2, opposite the name of a region, is prescribed as a region.

(2) Each region has the name stated in schedule 1 , column 1.

Note—

The local government areas of Burdekin, Cassowary Coast, Hinchinbrook and Whitsunday are in more than 1 region.
