TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE (DANGEROUS GOODS BY RAIL) REGULATION 2018 - REG 61
Duties of consignors
61 Duties of consignors
(1) A person must not consign dangerous goods for transport in other packaging
provided by the person if— (a) the packaging is unsuitable for the transport
of the goods; or
(b) the goods have not been packed in the packaging in
accordance with a relevant provision of part 4 of the ADG Code.
Penalty— Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
(2) A person must not
consign dangerous goods for transport in other packaging provided by another
person if— (a) the packaging is unsuitable for the transport of the goods;
or
(b) the goods have not been packed in the packaging in accordance with a
relevant provision of part 4 of the ADG Code.
Penalty— Maximum
penalty—40 penalty units.
