122 Keeping document evidencing authority

(1) The holder of an authority must keep the document evidencing the authority, or a document about the granting of the authority, until the holder no longer holds the authority.

Penalty—

Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.

(2) However, a person does not commit an offence against subsection (1) if—

(a) the authority is the registration of a Queensland regulated ship; and

(b) the document evidencing the authority was issued in the way provided for under section 159A .
