TRANSPORT OPERATIONS (MARINE SAFETY) REGULATION 2016 - REG 7

7 Purpose of chapter

The purpose of this chapter is to—

(a) require particular Queensland regulated ships to be equipped with particular equipment; and

Note—

The Transport Operations (Marine Safety—Queensland Regulated Ships Miscellaneous Equipment) Standard 2017 also provides for equipment with which particular Queensland regulated ships may be equipped.

(b) declare the equipment to be safety equipment to which section 44 of the Act applies.
