TRANSPORT OPERATIONS (ROAD USE MANAGEMENT--VEHICLE STANDARDS AND SAFETY) REGULATION 2021 - REG 28

28 Approved person only may issue certificate of modification or attach modification plate

(1) A person, other than an approved person, must not issue a certificate of modification or attach a modification plate to a light vehicle or heavy bus for—

(a) a modification of the light vehicle; or

(b) a code S13 modification of the heavy bus.

Penalty—

Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.

(2) An approved person must not, unless the person is accredited to approve the type of modification, issue a certificate of modification or attach a modification plate to a light vehicle or heavy bus for—

(a) a modification of the light vehicle; or

(b) a code S13 modification of the heavy bus.

Penalty—

Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
