(1) A case appraiser’s decision must be in writing, but the case appraiser need not give reasons for the decision.
(2) However, a case appraiser may, at any stage of a case appraisal proceeding, decline to proceed further with the proceeding.Example of subrule (2)—The dispute proves to be unsuitable for case appraisal.
(3) A copy of the decision must be given to each party.
