WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATION 2011 - REG 144
Nominated competent person must be present or readily available
144 Nominated competent person must be present or readily available
(1) A person holding a licence to carry out demolition work must ensure that a
person nominated to supervise the demolition work under section 144D is
readily available to a worker carrying out demolition work whenever the work
is being carried out. Penalty— Maximum penalty—60 penalty units.
(2) A person holding a licence to carry out demolition work must provide
appropriate training to a worker carrying out demolition work at a workplace
to ensure that the work is carried out safely and competently. Penalty—
Maximum penalty—60 penalty units.
