WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATION 2011 - REG 331
Safety data sheets—research chemical, waste product or sample for analysis
331 Safety data sheets—research chemical, waste product or sample for
analysis
(1) This section applies if— (a) a hazardous chemical is a
research chemical, waste product or sample for analysis; and
(b) it is not
reasonably practicable for a manufacturer or importer of the hazardous
chemical to comply with schedule 7 , section 1 .
(2) The manufacturer or
importer must prepare a safety data sheet for the hazardous chemical that
complies with schedule 7 , section 2 . Penalty— Maximum penalty—60
penalty units.
