Recognition of asbestos removal licences in other jurisdictions
488 Recognition of asbestos removal licences in other jurisdictions
(1) In
this division, a reference to an asbestos removal licence includes a reference
to an equivalent licence— (a) that was issued by a corresponding regulator
under a corresponding WHS law; and
(b) that is being used in accordance with
the terms and conditions under which it was granted.
(2) Subsection (1) does
not apply to a licence that is suspended or cancelled or has expired in the
corresponding jurisdiction.
