WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY REGULATION 2011 - REG 688
Major hazard facility—exemption
688 Major hazard facility—exemption
(1) The regulator may exempt the
operator of a major hazard facility or proposed major hazard facility from
compliance with any provision of this regulation relating to that facility.
(2) The exemption may be granted on the written application of the operator of
the major hazard facility or proposed major hazard facility. Note— A
decision to refuse to grant an exemption is a reviewable decision, see
section 676 .
