15 Amendment of s 289 (Order authorising creation of birth certificate for assumed identity under corresponding authority)

(1) Section 289—
insert—

(1A) Also, the chief executive officer of an intelligence agency may apply to the Supreme Court for an order (also a
"birth certificate approval" ) authorising a named intelligence officer of the agency to create a birth certificate for an assumed identity under a corresponding authority.

(2) Section 289(2), after ‘law enforcement officer’—
insert—
, intelligence officer

(3) Section 289(1A) to (4)—
renumber as section 289(2) to (5).
