DISASTER READINESS AMENDMENT ACT 2011 No. 33 - SECT 35

Section 354(4)—

omit, insert—

'(4) The safety conditions—

(a) must be relevant to, but not an unreasonable imposition on, the dam or reasonably required for the dam; and

(b) may include requirements about giving information to the local community situated immediately downstream of the dam about the likely or actual release of water from, or flow of water through, the dam as a result of flooding.'.
