Queensland Numbered Acts Queensland Numbered Acts(1) The purpose of the declaration of an area as a potential geothermal commercial area for a geothermal permit is to encourage longer-term development of the area for geothermal production.
(2) The purpose is achieved by making special provisions about work programs and relinquishment for potential geothermal commercial areas.
