GAMBLING LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 2004 No. 21 - SECT 70

70 Amendment of s 260 (Confidentiality of information)

(1) Section 260(1), (2) and (3), before 'information'--

insert--

'confidential'.

(2) Section 260(3)(c), 'entity or person'--

omit, insert--

'person or other entity'.

(3) Section 260(5), before 'information', first mention--

insert--

'confidential'.

(4) Section 260--

insert--

'(6) In this section--

"confidential information" means information, other than information that is publicly available, about--

(a) a person's personal affairs, business affairs or reputation, character, criminal history, current financial position or financial background; or
(b) a person making an application under this Act.'.
