HEALTH AND HOSPITALS NETWORK ACT 2011 No. 32 - SECT 53

53 Functions of chief health officer

The functions of the chief health officer are—

(a) to provide high level medical advice to the chief executive and the Minister on health issues, including policy and legislative matters associated with the health and safety of the Queensland public; and
(b) any functions given to the chief health officer by the chief executive;
(c) other functions under this or another Act.
